China’s grid operator tutulong sa power rehab

TUTULONG ang technical experts mula sa State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC) para sa pagsasaayos ng nasirang transmission lines sa Visayas, kaugnay pa rin sa pananalasa ng bagyong Yolanda.

Sinabi ni National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) spokesperson Cynthia Alabanza, bukod sa inisyal na $100,000 financial assistance sa mga biktima ng kalamidad, magpapadala rin ng technical teams ang Chinese grid operator para sa restoration ng mga linya ng koryente sa mga apektadong lugar.

Batay sa inisyal na assessment, nasa 600 structures ang nasira at 19 transmission lines ang bumagsak dahil sa bagyo.

“To provide all the necessary support to its technical partner and to expedite restoration time, SGCC is sending a team of experts on High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC), and transmission line design and construction to the Philippines. Details on the arrival and scope of work of the technical team have yet to be finalized,” ayon sa mensahe ng NGCP.

Sa ngayon ay patuloy pa rin ang pagsusumikap ng NGCP para maibalik na ang linya ng koryente na nag-uugnay sa Luzon at Visayas, Cebu at Leyte, Leyte at Bohol.
