Sa pakikipagtulungan ng Philippine National Police (PNP), magtatayo ang Association of Firearms and Ammunition Dealers (AFAD) ng isang “one-stop-shop” para sa pagpopoproseso ng Permit to Carry Firearms Outside of Residence (PTCFOR) sa 21st Defense & Sporting Arms Show (DSAS) Part 2 sa Nob-yembre 14-18, 2013 sa SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia, Pasay City.
Ayon kay AFAD Pre-sident Jethro T. Dionisio, kabilang sa mga serbis-yong maibibigay ng PTCFOR “one-stop-shop” ay ang neuro-psychiatric exam na pangangasiwaan ng PNP Health Services, Directorate for Investigation clearance, drug test ng PNP Crime Laboratory, gun safety seminar (lecture) ng PNP Civil Security Group at PNP Firearms and Explosives Office, at National Bureau of Investigation clearance.
Ang pagtatatag ng PTCFOR one-stop-shop ay bunga ng kooperasyon sa pagitan ng liderato ng AFAD at ni PNP chief Director General Alan LM Purisima, na kabilang sa mga nagsusulong ng kampanyan sa responsible gun ownership sa bansa.
Bilang tradisyon sa gun show, magbibigay din ang DSAS ng libreng seminar sa “Gun Safety & Responsible Ownership” ni Eustacio “Jun” Sinco, isang FEO-accredited instructor; at “Filipino Gun Owners Forum: Purpose of Your Firearms and the Responsibilities Behind Owning One” ng MP Concepts.
Isasagawa kasabay ng 2013 Manila Auto Salon (Nov. 14-17) – ang pinakamalaking automotive aftermarket fair, magbibigay ng malaking discount ang mga gun dealer sa mga piling baril at shooting paraphernalia sa limang araw na gun show event (Nobyembre 14-18).
