KINOMPIRMA ni Meralco coach Ryan Gregorio na lalaro na si Jared Dilinger sa Bolts sa quarterfinals ng PBA Governors’ Cup.
Ayon kay Gregorio, bukas na darating si Dilinger sa bansa mula sa California kung saan nag-therapy siya para sa mga pilay na nangyari nang naaksidente siya noong Abril.
Bumangga ang kotse ni Dilinger sa isang poste ng MRT sa Cubao habang papauwi siya mula sa laro ng Talk ‘n Text kontra Ginebra sa semifinals ng Commissioner’s Cup.
Itinapon ng TNT si Dilinger sa Meralco katuwang ang Barako Bull.
“He (Dilinger) told me that as soon as he hops out of the plane he is ready to go,” ayon kay Gregorio sa panayam ng PTV 4.
“I am hoping he is in tip-top shape which I am certain of because of his attitude in this game … he does not go out of shape.”
Susunod na makakalaro ng Meralco ang San Mig Coffee bukas.
“Yeah, I am leaving here on Thursday. I feel good! I don’t know what management has planned for me but my intention is to play and help the team as soon as I arrive,” ani Dillinger. “I worked mainly on my legs and core in functional type workouts, I didn’t want to get too big lifting weights.”
