2 NBP doctors, head guard sinibak (Sa VIP treatment sa high profile prisoners)

SINIBAK ang dalawang doctor at head guard ng New Bilibid Prisons at nakatakdang sampahan ng kasong administratibo bunsod ng pagrekomenda sa high-profile prisoners na madala sa ospital sa labas ng piitan bagama’t hindi emergency ang kanilang kondisyon.

Sa Department Order 405, kinilala ni Justice Secretary Leila de Lima ang mga sinibak na sina Dr. Gloria Achazo-Garcia, acting NBP hospital head; Dr. Ma. Cecilia Villanueva, NBP hospital Specialist I; at Prison Supt. Gabriel Magan, hepe ng NBP Escort Unit.

Ang pagsibak ay base sa rekomendasyon ni Justice Undersecretary Francisco Baraan III, na nag-imbestiga sa pagdadala sa ospital sa convicted drug dealer na si Ricardo Camata.

“I’m approving the recommendation of USec. Baraan. I’m issuing the corresponding DO today relieving the two doctors and the head guard,” pahayag ni De Lima, idinagdag na may hiwalay na DO pang ipalalabas na mag-aatas na kasuhan ang tatlo ng “neglect of duty” at “abuse of authority and conduct prejudicial to the interest of the service.”
