BUONG ningning na inamin ni Sue Ramirez na ipinagdasal niya na maging calendar girl ng Ginebra San Miguel.
“Talagang ipinagdasal ko po na maging calendar girl ng Ginebra,” pasigaw na umpisa ni Sue nang pormal siyang ipakilala bilang 2026 Ginebra Calendar Girl sa Diamond Hotel, Miyerkoles ng gabi.
“And finally it’s here!” excited na sabi pa ni Sue.
Naibahagi ni Sue na ang paborito niyang lay out
ay iyong nasa dagat siya dahil talagang mahilig siya sa beach.
“Im a beach babe and totoo pong umiinom ako ng Gin sa tabing dagat, kaya probably the beach lay out that I like the most,” anang dalaga nang matanong ukol sa kung anong paboritong lay out sa mga naggagandahang kuha.
Si Sue na nga ang bagong siren mula sa bansag ngayong taon na Street Siren ng Ginebra San Miguel.
“It feels very empowering, more than anything,” ani Sue. “When they told me na ang concept ay The Siren natuwa talaga ako because it embodies strength and confidence and also authenticity na talaga namang those are the bodies that I uphold and I work for a long time para ma-embrace ko talaga over the years.
“I think being a calendar girl is not just about being sexy, it’s owning your power, your voice, your story. And being called the siren feels like a batch of honor to me, na parang, ‘yes! This is me, this is Sue! Strong, a feminine and an apologetically,” giit pa ni Sue na six years na palang member ng Ginebra San Miguel family bilang GSM Blue endorser kaya naman taglay na nito ang spirit at fun attitude ng inuming kinagigiliwan ng karamihan.
“I really feel like I have a bigger responsibility now, it’s not GSM Blue that I’m bringing though sobrang grateful ko to work with GSM Blue since 2018, so imagine na 2025 now and I’m still part of the Ginebra family.
“Pero this time, mas malaki na talaga ang responsibility ko. Hindi lang itong Ginebra San Miguel na alak. Hindi lang ito iyon. It’s not just the brand of alcohol, it’s a basketball team, it’s the whole family of Ginebra San Miguel that I’ll be finally bringing to everybody. I think it’s a much, much responsibility for me.
“So when I found out, of course, gave myself a pat on the back at parang sinabi ko na, ‘wow! girl I made it, I made it!,” masayang kuwento pa ni Sue.
Idinagdag pa ng bagong GSM calendar girl na, “I-manifest mo at talagang mapupunta sa iyo.
“And of course tinitingnan ko rin itong chance na ito na as a big, big blessing to me. You know after years of having very beautiful calendar girls in the past. Ngayon it’s my time to shine.”
Sinabi pa ni Sue na, “I’m privileged and honored and very, very proud naman as always to be part of this family.
“God always gives us surprises in the most unexpected moments,” sambit pa ni Sue,
Apat na buwang hindi nakakilos nang maayos si Sue dahil sa sprain sa ankle at kamay.
“That was, like, four months of no movement. I was, wala talagang mobility. Ito rin ‘yung naging parang pinball moment ko to get back to fitness, to get back into shape, and really a wake-up call also to live healthier, to eat healthier,” kwento ni Sue sa pinagdaanan bago natuloy ang calendar shoot.
Ang 12 calendar layouts ay kinapapalooban ng mga kakaiba at simple vibes na concept tulad ng Siren ng Syudad, Siren ng Galaan, atbp.
