KASAMANG itinataguyod ni Sen. Grace Poe and Resolution No. 1070 na nagpapahayag ng pasasalamat at pagkilala kay Sen. Juan Edgardo “Sonny” Angara para sa kanyang napakahalagang kontribusyon
sa senado at sa buong bansa bilang senador ng Republika.
Sa plenary session kahapon, 30 Hulyo 2024, inilarawan ni Poe si Angara bilang “Senate proper gentleman”.
“Senator Angara’s appointment as the Department of Education Secretary is the result of his extensive and impressive work as a legislator for almost two decades. An avalanche of support for his appointment came when it was announced,” ani Poe.
“What is important to me really is the personality and character of a person…for me what really stood out is his character, he is a very kind person, very patient and most importantly very humble,” dagdag ng anak ni FPJ.
