SCIGLAT encompasses DOST 1’s branding on Spearheading and Championing Innovations geared towards leveraging and accelerating technologies in region 1. SCIGLAT was launched during the 2023 Regional Science, Technology, and Innovation Week, and now comes back with its version 2.0 features during the 2024 RSTW. SCIGLAT is the official mascot of DOST 1.
These mascots were crafted through the initiative of DOST 1 Regional Director, Dr. Teresity Tabaog, and were creatively conceptualized by Mr. Michael John Cabilitazan Maquiling and Ms. Carla Joyce B. Cajala.
