Arjo may pa-concert sa mga taga-QC

SPEAKING of Cong Arjo Atayde, napakasuwerte ng kanyang mga constituent niya sa Distric 1 ng Quezon City dahil  isang concert ang inihanda niya, ang Arjo Atayde’s Kyusiklaban Distrito Uno Music Festival 2023 sa November 11 na tampok ang Parokya Ni Edgar, Flow G, Mayonnaise, Carla Cray, and Rivermaya na gagawin sa Quezon City Memorial Circle.

Tampok din sa festival na siyang magho-host sina MC Muah, Ton Soriano, at Lassy. Layunin ng festival na mai-promote ang local music sa mga kabataan at maitaas ang antas ng art.

Si Arjo ang  vice-chair ng Creative Industry and Performing Arts Committee sa 19th Congress kaya naman nais niyang bigyang importansiya sa pamamagitan ng pagdiriwang nito sa pamamagitan ng promotion ng OPM, lalo na’t masyadong naapektuhan ang bansa sa halos tatlong taong pandemic.  

“We are so excited to mount the second installment of this music festival. As we envisioned last year, we are aspiring to make this an annual event to provide the youth of the district a wholesome space where they could have fun and celebrate life and Pinoy artistry with family and friends,” ani Cong Arjo sa isang interbyu sa kanya ukol sa  proposed bill niya, ang House Bill No. 457, na nadedeklara sa Quezon City bilang “Film and Television Arts” capital of the Philippines.

“I am in awe of the talent of our local artists and this event gives the people of the district free access to enjoy OPM and witness amazing performances,” aniya pa.

Libre ang tiket sa concert at magsisimula ang magsisimulang magpapasok ng 1:00 p.m. at ang festival proper ay magsisimula ng 5:00 p.m..
