IPINAHAYAG ng talented na singer-songwriter na si Marion Aunor na itinuturing niyang isang passion project sa kanya ang pagiging Creative Head ng Wild Dream Records.
Ito ang pahayag ni Marion nang usisain namin na parang puro new faces ang artist nila sa Wild Dream Records, sinadya ba ito o nagkataon lang?
“Yes po new faces sa music industry, although may following na po sa Tiktok yung isang artist namin na si Matt Wilson,” sambit ni Marion.
Aniya pa, “I really wanted to sign new artists/Wild Dreamers and help them achieve their goals and share their music.
“Parang naging passion project ko po yung record label na ito and I found a sense of purpose in giving these talented artists a chance to live their wildest dreams and share their stories through music.
“I think marami naman pong nakaka-relate so far sa mga inilabas nila na singles, so I hope marami pang makarinig sa music nila.”
Sino-sino na ba ang artists nila? “Indie Pop Singer-songwriter Matt Wilson, rapper songwriter Pecado, Indie folk singer songwriter and producer Minimal Days, Plus me.”
Parang sobrang busy siya sa Wild Dream Records? “Nakakatuwa nga po kasi after ng release namin ng music video ni Minimal Days, tapos na kami sa first cycle of singles. Mayroon na po from each of our artists including Matt Wilson with his song “Alitaptap” and Pecado with “Ahon”.
“Syempre after ng first singles nila tuloy-tuloy lang po sa pag-release ng new music and content and at the same time, patuloy din po ang paghanap namin ng bagong artists to join our record label. Nabi-busy na rin po yung artists with promoting through live shows and guestings.”
Inusisa namin si Marion kung paano nila pinipili ang artist na papasok sa Wild Dream Records.
Esplika niya, “We discover artists through demo submissions and online platforms like Tiktok, Youtube, etc.
“Tapos yung pinipili po namin ay artists na may magagandang original compositions that have raw, real, inspiring, or authentic stories to tell. Someone with music that’s relatable, so the people listening will also benefit from supporting our artists’ work.”
Anong fulfilment ang pagiging head niya ng Wild Dream Records? “A lot of people helped me achieve my dreams of pursuing music, so I want to do the same for others,” masayang sambit pa ng panganay na anak ni Ms. Lala Aunor.
