MALAKI ang kompiyansa ni Arjo Atayde sa galing ng mga Pinoy kaya nasabi nito nang magtungo sa MIPCOM Cannes n kayang makipagsabayan ng Pilipinas sa ibang bansa sa paggawa ng pelikula at teleserye.
Dumalo ang aktor/kongresista sa MIPCom Cannes para sa international premiere ng kanyang movie series na Cattleya Killer na ipinrodyus ng ABS-CBN at ng kanilang Nathan Studios.
Nakasama niya roon ang mga magulang na sina Sylvia Sanchez at Art Atayde at ang kapatid na si Ria bilang mga representative ng Nathan Studios.
Kasama ni Arjo sa proyekto sina Jake Cuenca, Christopher de Leon, at Zsa Zsa Padilla.
Ani Arjo nang kapanayamin ng Star Magic, “Kayang makipagsabayan ng mga Pinoy. We’re here now in Cannes doing that. We have to step forward.
“We have to move forward. There’s so many things we have to consider to be able to move forward and keep up with the other countries.”
Nalaman naming naiyak si Arjo habang nagpapasalamat sa audience pagkatapos ng screening ng Cattleya Killer. Hindi akalain ni Cong Arjo na magiging matagumpay at marami ang tayangkilik ng kanilang screening.
Anang Kongresista, “More than individual interests, it is really to represent the Philippines.
“We will continue to inspire to bring out the message. This is such an experience. We dedicate this to all Filipinos.
“This is for ABS-CBN. This is for all OFWs, all the Filipinos.
