Muli nakaharap ng tatlo ang kanilang mga tinalo sa shootout, 3-2, sa winner’s qualification, ang mga Pinoy tumbok king ay iginupo ang British trio nina Kelly Fisher, Jayson Shaw, at Darren Appleton tungo sa gold medal at lion’s share na 40,000 Euros to purse.
Ibinigay agad ni Amit sa Philippines ang 1-0 lead matapos ang 4-3 win kay Kelly Fisher sa women’s singles set.
Isang long shot ni Biado sa nine ball para makaungos kay Jayson Shaw, 4-3, sa men’s single set para kunin ng Team Philippines ang 2-0 commanding lead sa race-to-three series.
Ang tambalan nina Amit at Chua ang nagkamada ng 4-1 victory kontra kina Fisher at Darren Appleton sa mixed doubles para ilagay sa finishing touches ang Philippine’s unbeaten run sa nasabing torneo.
Sina Biado at Amit ay miyembro rin ng silver-medal winning team noong 2014 na natalo sa China noong final.
Patungo sa finals, ay kinakailangan talunin ng Team Philippines ang Team Poland, 3-1, sa quarter-finals at shootout wins sa Team Germany, 3-2, sa semi-finals.

“We’re, we’re very, very happy, and very relieved. Finally, no more matches, we can rest and just enjoy it and enjoy Austria and Klagenfurt!
“Last time we placed 2nd and now we are finally the champions. I am very happy that I have Johann and Carlo as my teammates because they are awesome, they are very good players.”
Dagdag ni Biado : “Finally we made it. My job was to win in this event and with my team, and I want to thank them because we all played well. We have to celebrate now!”
