SMART-PLDT inulan ng reklamo mula sa netizens

NAGING trending topic sa social media ang Telecommunications company SMART-PLDT makaraang ulanin ng mga reklamo mula sa netizens dahil sa malawakang fiber outage noong Lunes ng gabi.

Ang mga apektadong lugar ay ang San Luis, Aurora; Batangas City; Calamba, Laguna: Taytay, Rizal: Maynila; Mandaluyong; Gamay, Northern Samar; Talisay City, Cebu; Iloilo City; Cebu City; Pilar, Bohol; Cagayan De Oro; Misamis Occidental; Isabela, Basilan; Davao City; at  Isabela, Basilan.

Binatikos ng mga galit na netizens ang SMART- PLDT dahil sa outage na nangyari nang wala umanong abiso at nakasira sa kanilang pang-araw-araw na gawain.

“PLDT brags about claims of fastest speeds in the country, and network superiority— these are cheap if it can’t put its money where its mouth is,” sabi ng isang subscriber.

Ang mga sumusunod ay ilan lamang sa mga reklamo ng mga subscriber.

“I have my studies and my work. I can’t make it on time because of the slow internet connection. We just payed our bill and this is what we get? Apurado kaymo ug maningil pero inig mabayran murag soso sa kahinay inyong connection.”

“Do we need more than we pay? NOPE. Just let us have right internet connection as we pay. This is too far from what I pay for every month!”

Samantala, hindi kinagat ng market investors ang pahayag ng bilyonaryong si Manny V. Pangilinan na ang PLDT (TEL) was “undervalued” kompara sa mga kalaban nitong Globe Telecom (GLO) at Converge Information and Communications Technology Solutions (CNVRG).

Makaraang ihayag ni Pangilinan sa media at market analysts ang murang presyo ng TEL noong petsa 4 at 5 Nobyembre, ayon sa pagkakasunod, iniangat ng mga investor ang CNVRG (up six percent ) at GLO (up three percent) habang bumaba ang TEL  (down .61 percent) noong 8 Nobyembre.

Pagdating sa market cap, ang CNVRG ay nagdagdag ng P28 bilyon sa P265 bilyon at ang GLO ng P20 bilyon sa P441 kasunod ng pahayag ni Pangilinan. Nanatili ang TEL sa P354 bilyon.
