PINAKAPABORITONG nagawang pelikula ni Direk Yam Laranas ang Death Of A Girlfriend na pinagbibidahan nina Diego Loyzaga at AJ Raval.
Ayon kay Laranas, “Maganda kasi ‘yung process na ginawa namin. Iba ito. Sinabi ko nga sa management and even to my friends, na so far, this is my favorite film na nagawa ko.”
Isang sex-drama-mystery ang pelikula kaya kinailangan ni Laranas na isailalim sa intimacy at sensuality workshop sina Diego at AJ bilang paghahanda sa kanilang love scenes.
“I have to come in honest kina Diego at AJ. I have to protect AJ, obviously, because she’s a newcomer. And Diego also, I have to protect him whether lalaki siya or baguhan siya o hindi.

“’Yung beauty ni AJ and her innocence was also inspired by a Bergman film, which is The Virgin Spring (noong 1960),” sambit pa ni Laranas.
