Ilang beses din naming nakikita sa mediacon si Ron pero hindi nabanggit na pamilyadong tao na pala siya kasi naman hindi halata at wala rin naman din nagtatanong.
Graceful exit ang ginawa ni Ron dahil ang huling TV project niya ay ang FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano bilang isa sa mga nakasamang sundalo ni Coco Martin.
Sumakto dahil sa Covid-19 pandemic ay ipinatigil ang lahat ng shootings/tapings at nasabay pa sa pagsasara ng ABS-CBN dahil sa expired na prangkisa nito.
Pero si Ron, diretso pa rin ang trabaho dahil isa siyang chef sa Canada base sa panayam sa kanya ng ABS-CBN News na napapanood sa FB, Youtube, Channel 5 (TV Plus) at iba pang social media platform.
Kuwento ni Ron, “The chef trained me to do all the preparation the business needs. I can say I enjoy what I do. My wife is presently a stay-at-home mom, but she previously worked for a few months here as an early childhood educator (ECE) in a daycare.”
Dating ABS-CBN employee ang napangasawa ni Ron at dalawa na ang anak nila, lalaki at babae at okay naman ang kalagayan nila ngayon sa Canada sa mahigit isang taong pamumuhay.
“I can say we are fully settled after more than a year of living and working here. Definitely, there were challenges from the early stage of migration. But I can say generally it was smooth transition. Because of the family-friendly environment, peaceful and little to no traffic lifestyle PEI offers. We were detoxed from the city life we had back in the Philippines. We are missing the summer weather, though, back home, especially when it is winter season here,” kuwento ng aktor turns chef.
Pero aminadong nami-miss niya ang industriyang nakasanayan niya sa loob ng mahabang panahon.
“I definitely miss showbiz, my colleagues and the grind itself. In Manila I miss family, friends and, of course, food! Hopefully, if an opportunity for acting will come my way again, I will be open to make creative projects again,” pagtatapos n Ron.
