WALONG Filipino films ang itatampok sa ika-32 Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF) simula Oktubre 28 sa Tokyo, Japan. Kabilang rito ang Mañanita ni Paul Soriano at Motel Acacia ni Bradley Liew na kabilang sa Competition at Asian Future Sections.
Sina Direk Paul at Bela Padilla ng Mañanita; Direk Bradley, JC Santos, Bianca Balbuena, Ben Padero, Carlo Tabije, Ben Tolentino, April Batican, Kriz Gazmen, at Quark Henares ng Motel Acacia; Director Antoinette Jadaone ng Six Degrees of Separation from Lilia Cuntapay; at Direk Sigrid Andrea P. Bernardo ng Untrue ang ilan sa Filipino filmmakers na dadalo sa TIFF.
Samantala, ang iba pang Filipino films na lalahok sa TIFF ay ang Mindanao ni Brillante Ma Mendoza, Food Lore Series–Island of Dreams ni Erik Matti, Kuwaresma (The Entity) ni Erik Matti, at Ang Hupa (The Halt) ni Lav Diaz.
