Sa naganap na graduation ceremony ng Project #BeScene sa GMA Network Center, Dingdong Dantes was able to thank the “unsung heroes” of the TV and film industry.
“Ang layunin nito is to honor the unsung heroes ng ating industry.
“Kayo ang gusto namin,” Dingdong further added, “i-recognize and we want you to be seen that’s why we are recognizing you dahil nakikita namin na may magandang future sa industriyang ito lalong-lalo na sa sektor ng ating stuntmen.
“Sa dulo, gusto natin ng good quality of life. At para magkaroon ng good quality of life, gusto natin ng good quality of work.”
Naging parte raw ng naturang training and seminar ang safety, welfare, advancement and inclusivity of stunt people.
Nag-request rin ng suporta si Dong para sa kanyang Project #BeScene sa institutional partners tulad ng GMA Network at ng Film Development Authority of the Philippines.
Present sa naturang graduation ceremony sina Quezon City 5th District Representative Alfred Vargas, Mark Lapid, who represented Senator Lito Lapid, Brian Poe Llamanzares who represented his mom Senator Grace Poe Llamanzares, David Fabros from the Film Development Council of the Philippines, and the coaches and trainers from the Seoul Action School-Korea.
“Ang sabi nga ng isang Pilosopo, ‘… a whole is more than the sum of its parts.’ This means that a system just like the entertainment production becomes more effective and successful when all components – actors, stunt actors, directors, scriptwriters, among many others – are working at their best and in synergy.
“If our industry does well and asserts its responsibility to the Filipino people, then we know that we are humbly contributing in building a strong and progressive nation, and, at the same time, expressing our patriotism and love for our country.”
