Dormitoryo sa PSC maayos na

MAGKAKAROON muli ng matutuluyan ang mga national athletes mula sa 10 sports dahil bagong gawa ang dormitories sa Philippine Sports Com­mission sa Rizal Memorial Sports Complex sa Manila at sa PhilSports Complex sa Pasig City.

zMahigit tatlong bu­wang inayos ang mga tutuluyan ng mga atleta at ayon kay Dormitory Head Rocelle Destura kasalukuyang ginagamit ng national athletes mula sa NSAs tulad ng Weight­lifting at Wrestling (women) ang RMSC, ha­bang gagamitin ng Fencing, Karatedo at Muay Thai ang sa PhilSports.

“Preparations of rooms for Sepak Takraw, Softball, Pencak Silat, Wushu and Baseball athletes are also on-going as they finalize the compliance needed for lodging,” ani Destura.

Noong Disyembre 14 nagkaroon ng abiso na lilipat muna ng tirahan para ayusin ang mga dormitories, at sinigurado ni Executive Director Atty. Guillermo Iroy, Jr. ang lilipatan ng NSAs.

“The PSC will take care of athlete’s temporary board and lodging” as the RMSC and PhilSports undergo massive repairs.” sinabi ni Iroy bago ayusin ang nasabing tirahan ng mga atleta.

Hinayag naman ni PSC Chairman Butch Ramirez na sinagot nila ang gastusin ng mga atleta sa kanilang nilipatan.

“We covered expenses for their temporary housing like rentals of condo or apartment units for the team.”  ani Rami­rez. “A big part of being an athlete is discipline, so let us start with keeping our accommodations clean,” (APD)
