KUNG hindi magbabago ang plano, muling bubuksan ang Boracay sa publiko sa October 26, kaya naman hindi naitago ang kasiyahan ng dating host ng Born To Be Wild, ng GMA Network na si Kiko Rustia dahil mayroon silang negosyo roon.
May maliit na negosyo si Kiko at kanyang pamilya sa Bora at naapektuhan ito ng pagsasara ng isla noong Abril.
“We couldn’t be happier in Boracay. Actually mas competitive sa Boracay. ‘Yung business naming hotel, ang mga hotel doon, magkakatabi. Ours is just a humble hotel. B & B, AirBNB style. We have six rooms and then plus two more for backpackers. It’s challenging.
“The best outcome is we actually have more time for the family. When I have projects here in Manila, or our projects sa Victory Liner, I come here. We do our projects. After everything, balik sa isla ulit,” ani Kiko.
Matatandaang hindi itinago ni Kiko sa kanyang Vlog na inilabas niya sa kanyang Youtube channel ang kalungkutan at pagkadesmaya ukol sa closure ng Boracay. Aniya, “‘Yung place namin- sa Coco’s Place- medyo nabawasan ‘yung booking namin and is not doing well.”
