KAABANG-ABANG ang mga pasabog at exciting production numbers sa first ever solo concert ni Regine Tolentino titled Ignite na gaganapin sa May 26, 2018 sa Sky Dome sa SM North EDSA. Makikita rito na si Regine ay isang multi-talented artist dahil bukod sa pagiging Zumba Queen, siya ay isang aktres, top notch TV host at fashion designer, model, style icon, at dancer extraordinaire.
Ayon kay Regine, anim na buwan ang ginugol nila para tahiin ang mga damit na isusuot sa Ignite concert ng mga guest niyang sina Sheryl Cruz, Patricia Javier, Marissa Sanchez, Andrea Del Rosario, Madelle Paltuob, Zeus Collins, Gem Ramos, Leah Patricio, Sheng Belmonte, Jenny Miller, Alyna Velasquez, Ynez Veneracion, Che Che Tolentino, Luningning, Mariposa, Zara Lopez, Dasuri Choi, Cherry Lou, Sherry Bautista, Saicy Aguila, at Ara Mina.
Kasama sa repertoire ni Regine ang mga kanta at sayaw ng mga divas at idol niyang sina Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Madonna, at Britney Spears.
Ano ang reaction mo sa bansag sa iyo na Zumba Queen, Wonder Woman, at JLo ng Filipinas? “It’s extremely flattering to be called those titles because idol ko si JLo and si Wonder Woman. I want to be just like them sa talino, ganda, lakas, at prinsipyo. Super proud ako dahil na-associate ako sa kanila. I feel humbled and this makes me want to work harder to inspire others like my idols. I am very passionate and happy with everything I do and I make an extra effort to stay in shape and be healthy and strong.
“Wonder woman daw ako dahil marami akong ginagawa talaga. Favorite ko rin siyang iCosplay sa mga event. Kaya siguro na-associate ako sa kanya. Para sa akin ang Wonder Woman ay isang babae na kayang tapatan ng kahit anong challenge. Kaya niya mag-adjust sa lahat ng situations at maging victorious. Kaya I try to do as many things as I can to be a wonder woman for my children, she is the epitome of women empowerment. Kaya I want to inspire others to also make a positive difference and be active for self improvement!
“Idol ko si JLo sa katawan, sa galaw, sa pagbihis and business sense niya. Kaya gingagaya ko siya in my own way, para I can be a version of her. Super-tuwa ako sa title na ‘yan, pero marami pa akong kailangang gawin para maabot ko siya. But this title inspires me to keep on doing what I am doing at mas lalong galingan ang trabaho ko,” masayang saad ni Ms. Regine.
Tampok sa Ignite concert ang electrifying production numbers choreograph ng magaling na Speed Dancers’ dance director na si Egai Bautista at tampok ang fabulous costumes designed ni Regine and style ni Neil Lorenzo.
