EPEKTIBO ang panawagan ni elect-president Rodrigo “Digong” Duterte laban sa illegal na droga.
Hindi pa pormal na nakauupo sa Palasyo ng Malacañang si Duterte ay nagsikilos na kaagad ang iba’t ibang ahensiya ng mga alagad ng batas.
Kanya-kanya sila ng raid, huli at may napapatay na suspected pushers o drugs trafficking. Nagpapatunay lang na talagang na-invade ng mga tulak, suppliers ng droga ang karamihan sa barangay, munisipalidad sa buong Metro Manila at sa mga probinsiya.
Kung tayo ang tatanungin, tama ang panawagan ni Duterte na dapat lamang hulihin at iligpit ang mga tulak na ‘repeaters’ at salot sa ating lipunan.
Ang kailangan sa ating bansa ay presidenteng mapagkakatiwalaan, matapang, may isang salita, may kamay na bakal.
Noong panahon ni ex-president Ferdinand Marcos, iniutos niya sa mga awtoridad ang pagsugpo sa iba’t ibang uri ng illegal na droga. Sa panahon din ni Marcos nakilala ang bagsik ng Constabulary Anti-Narcotics Unit (CANU) na nasa command ni Brigadier General Olivas.
Sa panahon ni Marcos ay hindi pa sikat o uso ang shabu. Mas kilala ang mga addict sa marijuana at ilang valium na nakaha-high.
Dahil galit sa illegal drugs si Marcos, ipinapatay niya ang Chinese drug lord na si Lim Tseng sa pamamagitan ng firing squad sa Fort Bonifacio.
Kamay na bakal ni Duterte ang kailangan ng ating bansa.
3 suspected drug personalities nabbed by CIDG Region 4-A
CAMP Vicente Lim-In line with the current thrust of the new Officer-In-Charge of PRO CALABARZON, Chief Superintendent Valfrie G. Tabian ordered his men to conduct illegal drugs operation.
The ordered resulted to the arrest of three suspected drug personalities and to the recovery of illegal drug known as shabu.
The arrest was launched by joint operatives of CIDG Region 4A-Cavite Team, CIDG NCR, Cavite PPO and Paranaque CPS .
The suspects were identified as Mustapha Madayao; Binnor Macabato and Noroden Amatonding, all of Quiapo, Manila.
According to one of the team leader, Chief Inspector Jay Icawat, the anti-illegal drug buy-bust operation was consummated between the suspects and the police poseur buyer at the parking lot in front of the Asean Tower Station Building, located at Bradco Avenue., Barangay Baclaran, Paranaque City on the evening of June 6, 2016.
The operation resulted to the arrest of the suspects and to the confiscation of more or less 3.25 kilograms of suspected high-grade SHABU from their possession.
A follow-up operation was also conducted by joint operatives of the PNP-CIDG Region 4A-Laguna Team, Laguna PIB and San Pablo CPS based on the result of the Tactical Interrogation conducted with the arrested suspects, wherein Search Warrant No C-261 (16) for Violation of RA 9165 was implemented against a chinese national in Barangay IV-A, in San Pablo City, Laguna.
Recovered in the said operation were two digital weighing scales used in the illegal drug trade and a log book wherein suspected illegal drug transactions between the suspect and several personalities were recorded, and is now the subject of validation and for further investigation.
Another follow-up by joint operatives of CIDG Region 4A- Cavite Team, Cavite PPO, RMU4A via implementation of Search Warrant in Bacoor, Cavite, at an identified safehouse of the suspects yielded to the recovery of one kilogram of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalias and chemicals.
A total of more or less four kilos of suspected high grade shabu with estimated value of Php10 million were also confiscated in the police operations.
Anyway, nagkaroon na nang change of command sa PNP-Region 4-A sa pagitan nina Chief Supt. Ronald Santos at Chief Supt. Valfrie Tabian, ayon kay Supt. Chitadel Carandang Gaoiran, ang hepe ng regional PNP-PIO-RPO4-A.
