Cariaso assistant coach ng Alaska

PORMAL na hinirang ng Alaska Milk si Jeffrey Cariaso bilang bagong assistant coach ni Alex Compton simula sa PBA Commissioner’s Cup.

Isinama ni Compton si Cariaso sa coaching staff ng Aces na kinabibilangan din nina Louie Alas, Topex Robinson, Franco Atienza at Monch Gavierres.

Matatandaan na sinibak si Cariaso bilang coach ng Barangay Ginebra San Miguel dahil tutol ang mga manlalaro ng Kings sa triangle offense na nais niyang gamitin sa koponan.

Si Cariaso ay dating manlalaro ng Alaska, Mobiline, Tanduay at Coca-Cola at dati rin siyang assistant coach ni Tim Cone sa Purefoods Star Hotdog.

Siya rin ang pinuno ng Jr. NBA program ng Alaska.

“Alaska has always been a home for me. They are close to my heart because of our history. What they believe in are the same traits I believe in – discipline, hard work and integrity to name a few,” wika ni Cariaso.

Natuwa si Compton dahil sa pagtalaga ni Cariaso bilang miyembro ng coaching staff ng Aces.

“I am excited to welcome Jeff Cariaso to the Alaska Aces. He has been a winner at any level, is a man of integrity and great teacher of the game. I believe he will fit right with our other coaches and bring great value. Plus having been played with an Alaska uniform, it really feels we are welcoming him home,” ani Compton.
