Abad lalantad pagkatapos ng SoNA

LALABAS na sa kanyang ‘lungga’ si Budget Secretary Florencio Abad makaraan ang State of the Nation Address ni Pangulong Benigno Aquino III sa Hulyo 28.

Ito ang pahayag ng Palasyo hinggil kay Abad na itinuturing na “missing in action” ng publiko, mahigit isang linggo na mula nang ideklara ng Korte Suprema ang iniakda ng Kalihim na Disbursement Acceleration Program (DBM) bilang unconstitutional. Idinahilan ni Presidential Spokesman Edwin Lacierda na abala si Abad sa paghahanda ng panukalang 2015 national budget na isusumite sa Kongreso makaraan ihayag ng Pangulong Aquino ang kanyang ikalimang SONA sa Hulyo 28.

“In truth and in fact, Secretary Butch Abad is really busy in budget preparation. The budget… SONA is around the corner. Thereafter, we will submit the 2015 proposed national expenditures program. And for that particular reason, he has been meeting with a number of agencies; and at some appropriate time, Secretary Butch Abad will come out,” ani Lacierda.
