Abad inabswelto sa Pork Scam

ABSWELTO pa rin sa Palasyo si Budget Secretary Florencio Abad sa pork barrel scam dahil lingid daw sa kaalaman ng publiko, siya ang repormista sa administrasyong Aquino.

“Butch Abad is a reformist in government. A number of reforms that he is… These reforms that he has been doing in the Budget is not sexy in the sense that — it’s a reform on governance. These are governance reforms. And so there is no direct relation to the people on the ground,” pahayag kahapon ni Presidential Spokesman Edwin Lacierda.

Sabi pa ni Lacierda, dahil sa mga repormang naipatupad ni Abad ay hindi kapani-paniwala na may kakayahan siyang maglustay ng pondo ng bayan.

“(Secretary) Butch Abad has been portrayed in a quite a negative fashion. But the reforms that he have made…You will not believe that Butch Abad is involved in any way with respect to the allegations,” ani Lacierda.

Gayunman, hinihintay pa aniya ng Palasyo ang extended affidavit ni pork barrel scam queen Janet Lim-Napoles na may lagda dahil hanggang ngayon ay mga alegasyon pa lang ang naglabasang ulat laban kay Abad kaya’t walang imbestigasyon na isinasagawa laban sa Kalihim.

Si Abad, kasama sina Agriculture Secretary Proceso Alcala at TESDA Director-General Joel Villanueva, ang tatlong miyembro ng gabinete na isinangkot sa pork barrel. (ROSE NOVENARIO)
