22-anyos PCG trainee dedo sa heat stroke

Ipinaliwanag ng Coast Guard District Northwest Luzon na mataas ang temperatura ng katawan ng kanilang trainee na namatay dahil sa heat stroke noong Linggo.

Kinilala ang biktimang si April Vanessa Inte, 22, tubong Davao City, miyembro ng Coast Guard Class 33-2014.

Ayon kay Lt. Neomi Cayabyab, course director ng Class 33, umabot hanggang 41.7 degrees Celsius ang temperatura ng katawan ni Inte nang itakbo sa ospital.

Bukod rito, umabot din sa 140/80 ang blood pressure ng biktima.

Sinabi ni Cayabyab na sa kabila ng medikasyon ay lalong tumaas ang temperatura ni Inte hanggang bawian ng buhay.
