ILAN sa country’s top chess players ang sasabak sa 2013 National Rapid and Blitz Chess Championship ngayong Sabado sa Philippine Sports Commission National Athletes’ Dining Hall, Rizal Memorial Sports Complex, Vito Cruz, Manila.
Ang two-day (Saturday and Sunday) Nine Rounds Swiss System competition ay inorganisa ng National Chess Federation of the Philippines (NCFP) sa pakikipagtulungan ng Philippine Sports Commission at ng Philippine Olympic Committee.
Inaasahang makakasama ni Asia’s First Grandmaster Eugene Torre sa traditional ceremonial moves sina NCFP Chairman/President Prospero “Butch” Pichay Jr. at Secretary-General Cavite Rep. Abraham “Bambol” Tolentino Jr.
Bukas sa lahat ng chess players sa bansa na good standing sa National Chess Federation of the Philippines (NCFP).Hinati ang torneo sa mga sumusunod na kategorya: Open, Women and Kiddies – 14 yrs & below (born on or after January 1, 1999). Registration fees: Rapid Chess – P200 (GM, IM&WIM – free) and Blitz Chess – P150 (GM, IM & WIM – free) plus NCFP Membership Fee (for non-member) – P300. (Marlon Bernardino)
