BoC-assessment division, next target ng DoF

THE Department of Finance (DOF) is now focusing at the ASSESSMENT division of every ports as  the third target of reform.  Hindi naman lihim, that most of the problem sa smuggling and misdeclarations  and also the shortfall ng revenue collections are all coming from this division.

Kaya dapat lang linisin by eliminating the bad eggs once and for all sa assessment division.

Maybe by next year DOF will  implement this reform sa Assessment area ng BoC.

Alam naman ng lahat na mahina ang dating ng mga  imported goods sa first quarter ng taon, dahil sa isinasagawang imbentaryo  ng mga negosyante kaya hindi ito magkakaroon ng epekto sa customs service  sa mga service providers ng customs.

Ang pagbalasa o reshuffle sa hanay ng mga customs appraisers (COO4-5) and (COO3) customs examiners ay depende rin sa recommendation ng mga BoC District collectors.

That will depend if they can still be trusted or not…

They can also be replaced by a license broker, provided that these brokers pass the Civil service rules and regulations examination.

There are about 500 license brokers who passed the CSC examination na puwede nang i-hire at ipalit sa mga aalisin na examiners at appraisers kung matutuloy silang sibakan sa BoC.
