MULING pinatunayan ni Marianne Bermundo na pagdating sa beauty at talento, pang-world class talaga ang mga Pinay, nang manalo siya bilang Little Miss Universe 2021.
Nakopo ni Marianne ang coveted crown sa katatapos na beauty pageant na ginanap sa Georgia, Europe last month.
Ipinakuwento namin kay Marianne ang mga kaganapan sa naturang beauty pageant.
Aniya, “The candidates in that pageant po, we were more than 30 plus. Majority are from Southeast Asia and Europe.”
How’s the experience? “It was a very new and amazing experience po for me. It was a new path, a new journey for me that made me explore and achieved my dreams po,” nakangiting tugon niya.
Matagal na ba siyang sumasali sa mga ganitong pageant? “Yes po, when I was like, 11 years old,” matipid na sagot pa ng 14 year old na bagets.
Ilan silang nag-compete sa Filipinas?
Salaysay ni Marianne, “Well, actually there was supposed to be a pageant here in the Philippines. But due to the Covid restriction, we just had to audition and send our video to the organizer.
“I actually don’t know, they didn’t informed us about how many people, locally, na nag-participate po,” lahad pa niya.
Nang usisain pa ukol sa iba pang competition sa pageant, ito ang sagot ni Marianne, “There was a long gown competition, talent competition and national costume. There weren’t many awards po, but I won Best in Ranway. We were given an outfit po and we had to do our style.”
Dagdag na kuwento pa niya, “In the online competition, I won Best in National Costume.”
Pangarap din ba niyang sumali sa ibang beauty pageant?
“I’m hoping po that I can join in the Binibining Pilipinas and the Miss Universe competition po.”
Ayon pa sa magandang dalagita, willing din daw siyang subukan ang showbiz, partikular ang pag-arte.
“Yes po, actually its part of my dream to become an actress,” sambit pa niya.
Sino ang idol niyang Pinay beauty queen?
“Si Miss Catriona Gray, because I love the aura po… I love how she stands up for others, I love how she make the people inspire her…
“She really inspired me to become the beauty queen that I am right now, kaya po siya talaga ang idol ko,” nakangiting pahayag pa niya.
Si Marianne ay Grade 9 student sa Pasay City Adventist. Sina Mr. Mark Donald and Mrs. Virginia Bermundo, ang kanyang proud parents na labis niyang pinasasalamatan sa suportang ibinibigay sa kanya.
Kabilang din sa pinasasalamatan ni Marianne sina Allen Castillo (trainor) at ang National Director ng Little Miss Universe Philippines na si Adrian Stephen Cabuhat sa paggabay sa kanya.
