Lahad niya, “And I’m also so happy kasi, Shakey’s now po, me with Shakey’s!
“It’s a dance campaign of different eras with tito Gary, ate Marian, so iyon. It’s just becoming a big thing also because of how, siguro I guess social media also plays a big part of it, Tiktok.
“A lot of people appreciate dance more, with ‘Time To Dance’ also I’m so happy na we’re able to televise it, we’re able to show more people and reach more audiences, so iyon po,” ang nakangiting pahayag pa ni Gela.
Isang magandang oportunidad na makasama sa isang dance campaign ang Mr. Pure Energy na si Gary at ang GMA Primetime Queen na si Marian na tulad ni Gela ay kapwa mahusay ding sumayaw.
“Honestly, it hasn’t sunk in,” ang nakangiting bulalas ni Gela. “It really hasn’t sunk in. Kasi parang, they told me lang po a few days before or like a week before the campaign, that I was doing it so… eh nalaman ko lang po a few days before who I was with so sobrang I was in shock!
“Lumabas na naman po ‘yung imposter syndrome ko na bakit ako nandito, why was it given to me, like of all people?”
Ayon sa Google, ang imposter syndrome ay ang
“persistent inability to believe that one’s success is deserved or has been legitimately achieved as a result of one’s own efforts or skills.”
Pagpapatuloy pa ni Gela, “Of course, I mean I have high respect for tito Gary, of course, and ate Marian but I guess I’m just nothing but grateful.
“That’s really all I can say, kasi iyon po, it feels so surreal eh, parang hindi po siya totoo?
“Iyon ‘yung feeling na, to the Shakey’s team, I even went to their 50th anniversary, and I couldn’t stop thanking because I mean compared to who I was with it’s like sobrang layo na po ng mga narating ni tito Gary and ate Marian, especially as endorsers.
“So with this, it’s an honor, it’s such a good start din for me so hopefully I’m able to do more, of course.
“Cause it would be a privilege to be able to endorse different brands and products.
“But yeah it’s so different, it feels so… surreal!
“Iyon lang po talaga ‘yung masasabi ko because I know that being an endorser entails a lot of not just responsibilities pero ‘yung ibig sabihin may respeto sa iyo ‘yung mga tao.
“So for them to choose me for some reason hindi po siya pumapasok sa utak ko, until now when people congratulate me it’s a big deal to me but at the same time it’s like hindi ko po alam paano, parang hindi ko siya… I couldn’t wrap my head around it!”
