GMA morning show host na si Kaloy magaling na singer

ISA sa mga baguhang host ng GMA morning show na Unang Hirit si Kaloy Tingcungco, pero marahil may mga hindi nakaaalam na isa rin siyang mahusay na mang-aawit.

Napag-alaman namin, mas nauna ang singing bago ang hosting career dahil bago pa siya kinuhang regular host ng Unang Hirit ay mas una na siyang kinontrata ng GMA bilang isang mang-aawit.

Kuwento ni Kaloy, “Well, actually, you’d be surprised when I share this story.

“Kasi it happened… the signing under GMA Playlist and together with me happened even before ‘Unang Hirit’ came to life, in my life.

“So back in 2022, when we had this signing together with other artists, along side with Brianna and Mitzy [Josh] as well, and other artists from GMA, roon nagkaroon ng signing and also auditions to be part of GMA Playlist.

“And I was one of those lucky people na nabigyan ng tsansa na makapag-release ng single under GMA Playlist label and here we are.

“It’s been… I’ve been saying this in the past interviews po, since the day we’ve released the single “Infatuation”, it’s been two years in the making, and now it’s out and you get to hear it na po sa mga streaming platforms.”

Tinanong namin ang binata kung bakit hindi siya agad na-launch bilang singer?

“They have a calendar that they were following po and then, iyun po ‘yung timing niyong bawat release po for every artist.

“We’re about I guess, 15 artists in their roster and siyempre priority ‘yung mga may current shows that time and then, come us next na mga newbie sa industriya.

“But at the end of the day, I’m just really grateful na isa ako sa mga nabigyan nila ng opportunity to sing,” say pa ng guwapong Sparkle singer/host/actor na ang latest single, ang Infatuation sa ilalim ng GMA Playlist.
