Seguridad para sa Undas 2024, inilatag ng QCPD

INILATAG ng Quezon City Police District (QCPD) sa pamumuno ni Acting District Director, P/Col. Melecio M. Buslig ang comprehensive security deployment plan para matiyak ang seguridad ng publiko sa paggunita sa All Souls’ at All Saints’ Day bukod sa mapanatili ang kaayusan at katahimikan sa buong panahon ng paggunita.

Inaasahang libo-libo ang daragsa para bumisita sa anim na sementeryo, 26 columbaria, at sa iba’t ibang  bus terminals sa lungsod.

Para matiyak ang seguridad ng publiko, ang QCPD ay magpapakalat ng 7,647 personnel, kinabibilangan ng 4,786 mula sa PNP, 234 barangay tanods, 110 mula sa Lingkod Bayan Advocacy Support Groups, 11 Patrolya ng Bayan teams, 2,316 security guards, at 190 personnel sa Department of Public Order and Safety (DPOS). May karagdagang suporta rin na manggagaling sa Traffic and Transport Management Department (TTMD) at Task Force Disiplina.

Para sa suguridad ng mga sementeryo,  486 personnel ang itatalaga sa limang major sites, kabilang ang 221 mula sa QCPD, 109 force multipliers, at  156 sa DPOS.

Samantala, 308 personnel sa  QCPD at 182 force multipliers ang tutulong sa pagbabantay sa 26 columbaria.

Kaugnay nito, may karagdagang 112 QCPD personnel at 65 force multipliers ang itatalaga sa  27  bus terminals, at 344 personnel ang magbibigay seguridad sa 12 LRT/MRT stations sa bisinidad ng  Quezon City.

Bukod sa 2,609 personnel ang tutulong sa pagsasayos ng trapiko sa lansangan hindi lamang sa sementeryo kung hindi maging sa malls, markets, parks, at  places of worship.

Sinabi ni Buslig, maglalagay ang QCPD ng mga Police Assistance Desks sa bawat sementeryo upang alalayan ang publiko. Gagamiting din ang QCPD Drone Squadron para sa pagmamanman sa kumpol ng tao  via aerial.
