Innervoices nag-boom ang music career dahil sa socmed

NANINIWALA ang bandang Innervoices na dahil sa pag-boom ng social media platforms ay mas madaling magpasikat ng kanta ngayon kaysa noon.

“Yes! Oo naman. Imagine you can boost the video, for example posting the video… sa page, ganyan, minsan nga wala pang boost eh, ‘pag nagugustuhan ng mga tao nagiging viral talaga, eh. 

“Actually mayroon kaming mga nag-viral na video, tatlo, ‘yung ‘Home,’ ‘Stars,’ kinuhanan lang sa phone ‘yun, we didn’t expect it to be like that, we just posted it at our page, bigla na lang nagulat kami na, ‘O, 170,000 views na!’

“‘Yung shares, ‘yung stars din, ‘yun nga lang ginawa ko noong nakaraan na simpleng comedy skit, katuwaan lang. I mean, it’s an inside joke actually, ‘yung ginawa namin, sinend ko lang sa group, tapos ipinost nila sa page, we didn’t expect it, parang nasa 30,000 views na ngayon.

 “Actually, ‘yung views, sobra talagang advantage niyong social media, Youtube. Well, hindi rin naman automatic ‘no, pero at least the chance is there.

“Eh what if kung ibinoost mo pa, you have the option to boost the page, ‘di ba, parang…talagang effective ang social media ngayon, it’s the new platform actually, it’s the new label na nga eh, parang label na nga ‘yun eh, it’s the equalizer,” ang pahayag ng lead vocalist ng grupo na si Angelo Miguel.

Ang iba pang miyembro ng Innervoices ay sina Rene Tecson (guitar), Ruben Tecson (drums), Rey Bergado (keyboard), Alvin Herbon (bass guitar), Joseph Cruz (keyboard, vocals), at Joseph Esparrago (drums, persussion, vocals).

Ang mga award at citation na nakamit na ng Innervoices ay sa 28th Awit Awards bilang Best Performance by a New Group Recording Artist, 7th PMPC Star Awards for Music nominee for Best Duo/Group Artist of the Year, at 1st WISHclusive nominee for Best Performance by a Group and Best WISH Ballad Song.
