PH kahit inilagay ng China sa blacklist
PALASYO TAHIMIK SA ‘PAGPUSLIT’ NG POGO WORKERS 

TIKOM ang bibig ng Palasyo sa ginawang pagsama sa Filipinas ng China bilang blacklist sa tourist destinations bunsod ng patuloy na operasyon ng Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGO) sa bansa.

“Sa totoo lang, wala pa po kaming nare-receive na advisory with respect to that blacklisting issue. So kapag nabigyan na po kami ng kaukulang advisory, we will make the proper comment,” ani OIC Press Secretary Cheloy Garafil sa press briefing kahapon sa Malacañang.

Sinabi ni Garafil, ayaw niyang magbigay ng espekulasyon hanggang walang natatanggap na advisory ang Palasyo kaugnay sa isyu.

               “Ayaw ko pong mag-speculate, so hintayin na lang po natin ang advisory kung mayroon man po,” ani Garafil.

Nauna rito’y inihayag ni Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri na blacklisted ng China ang Filipinas bilang tourist destination dahil maaaring mapahamak ang mga Chinese tourist sa bansa bunsod ng sindikatong nagpapatakbo ng POGO.

“The Philippines now is part of a blacklist of tourist sites because they do not know if the tourist will be joining POGO operations and they do not know if the Chinese nationals who go to the Philippines will be safe from illegal activities being done by the triad, by the syndicates operating POGO. They may also be kidnapped, mistaken as POGO operators,” ayon kay Zubiri. (ROSE NOVENARIO)
