Caloocan tricycle drivers isinalang sa ‘Moderna’

SUMALANG ang tricycle drivers sa lungsod ng Caloocan sa bakuna kontra CoVid-19, sa Camarin D Elementary School, kahapon.
 
Nasa 600 tricycle drivers ang inaasahang mabibigyan ng unang dose ng Moderna vaccine sa araw na ito, ayon kay Caloocan City CoVid-19 Vaccination Action Officer Dra. Rachel Basa.
 
Ang inisyatibong ito ay mula sa direktiba ni Mayor Oscar “Oca” Malapitan na naglalayong mabigyan ng pagkakataon ang mga tricycle driver para sa dagdag na proteksiyon habang sila ay naghahanapbuhay.
 
“Ang ating mga tricycle driver ay kabilang sa essential workers o economic frontliners. Mahalaga na maprotektahan natin sila hindi lang para sa kanilang sarili kundi para sa kanilang pamilya at komunidad,” ani Mayor Oca.
 
Tatanggap ng tricycle drivers na nais magpabakuna ang Camarin D Elementary School ngayong araw mula 8:00 am hanggang 4:00 pm, depende sa availability ng bakuna. Magdala lamang ng valid ID, sariling ballpen at huwag kalimutan ang facemask at face shield. (JUN DAVID)
