Kaalaman sa bakuna kailangan bago dumating — solon

HINIMOK ni House Deputy Speaker Neptali “Boyet” Gonzales II ang Kagawaran ng Kalu­su­gan na magkaroon ng malawakang educational campaign patungkol sa CoVid-19 vaccine upang maliwa­nagan ang publiko hingil sa bakuna at mawala ang mga maling haka-haka.

Ayon kay Gonzales, masasayang ang mga bakuna kung hindi magpapabukana ang mga tao.

“All the billions of pesos appropriated by the government will simply go to waste if a substantial number of the people targeted by the vaccination program of the government will just refuse to be vaccinated, out of fear borne out of lack of information and understanding of the advantages of having it,” ani Gonzales.

Sakaling magkaroon ng maling pananaw ang publiko hingil sa bakuna hindi mababakunahan ang karamihan.

“A herd immunity will ensure that our economy will get back on track and our country will go back to normal,” dagdag niya.

Nagulat si Gonzales sa resulta ng ginawang survey sa kanyang distrito sa Mandaluyong na lumalabas na mula sa 1,100 sumailalim sa survey, 70 porsiyento ay ayaw magpabakuna dahil sa “safety concerns and basic lack of knowledge.”
