Lea, pinalakpakan sa Tony Awards 2018

PINALAKPAKAN nang husto ang performance ng Tony Award winning actress na si Lea Salonga sa katatapos na 72nd Tony Awards na ginanap sa Radio City Music Hall in New York City. Kasama ni Lea ang cast ng Broadway revival na Once On This Island.

Tweet nga nito, ”I’ve been on the @TheTonyAwards stage a total of 3 times: first, to receive my Tony, second to perform in the opening number, and third to present. At this fourth time, I will be performing with the rest of the@OnceIslandBway cast.”

Lucky night nga ni Leah ang gabi ng Tony Awards dahil nagwagi bilang Best Revival of a Musical ang Once On This Island at tinalo nito ang mahigpit na kalaban na My Fair Lady at Carousel.

Last year ay isa sa mga presenter si Lea sa 71st Tony Awards at nakapagpa-selfie pa siya kasama sina Mark Hamill, Josh Gad, John Lithgow, Ben Platt, Colbie Smulders, Josh Groban, at Lin-Manuel Miranda sa red carpet.

Maaalalang si Lea ang first Asian actress na nanalo ng Tony Award noong 1991 as Best Actress in a Musicalpara sa Miss Saigon.
