CAMP Vicente Lim – PRO4A Regional Director PCSUPT Valfrie G. Tabian leads today the ceremonial turn-over of House and Lot units to uniformed personnel as part of the AFP/PNP Housing Program Phase 2 for the project sites located in CALABARZON area.
The project sites include Amadeo Heights 1, Dagatan, Amadeo, Cavite; Amadeo Heights 2, Brgy. Halang Amadeo, Cavite; Villa De Pio, Brgy. San Miguel, Sto. Tomas, Batangas; Sea Breeze Residences, Brgy. Talaibon Ibaan, Batangas; and San Miguel Homes, Brgy. Lagalag Tiaong Quezon.
A total of 1,135 PNP personnel from different units like NHQ, PRO2, PRO4A, PRO4B, PRO8, PRO12 and NCR were the recipients of said housing units.
The terms of payment for the house and lot is an ascending scheme wherein from 1st to 4th year, a total amount of 200 should be paid thru salary deduction while a total amount of 1,330 for the 25th to 30th year, the maximum term, should be paid.
Present also during the activity were Architect Susana V. Nonanto, Vice-Chair, AFP/PNP Housing Program, NHA. The housing site comes with complete community facility such as health center/day care center, school building, police sub station, and multi-purpose center.
Under PD 757 dated 31 July 1975, the National Housing Authority was tasked to develop and implement a comprehensive and integrated housing program which shall embrace, among others, housing development and resettlement, sources and schemes of financing, and delineation of government and private sector participation.
PCSUPT Tabian said that the PNP gives each member and what they deserve for the unwavering support in the preservation of peace and order not only CALABARZON region but for the entire nation as well.
“Ang pabahay na ito ay ipinagkaloob sa inyo ng pamahalaan sa pamamagitan ng Philippine National Police upang tugunan ang isa sa inyong mga pangunahing pangangailangan na magkaroon ng sariling tahanang malapit sa inyong trabaho,” the director further added. (PIO- PRO4A).
