Ang nakatutuwa nang muling magbigay ng ultimatum si president Rodrigo Duterte at General dela Rosa laban sa mga sangkot sa illegal drugs, karamihan sa runners, users at tagabenta ng droga ang nagtungo sa Cuneta Astrodome para sumurender sa local na pulisya.
Ang kuwento ng nakausap ko, karamihan daw sa mga boluntaryong sumuko sa pulisya sa Cuneta Astrodome ay mga pawisan, may nanginginig ang katawan, may mga butusin na at may nangangalumata ang mga mata.
Dalawa rin daw sa barangay officials sa Pasay ang sumuko sa takot na sila ay mapasama sa watchlist o sa listahan ng mga mapapatay.
EMERGENCY COMMAND CENTER INAUGURATED IN MUNTI
MAYOR Jaime Fresnedi led the blessing of the Muntinlupa City Resiliency Building, a state-of-the-art structure that can withstand a magnitude 7.2 earthquake and set to be the command center of the city’s rescue operations.
Fresnedi attended the inauguration of the three-storey building located at Susana Heights, Tunasan, amounting to 119 million pesos. The newly constructed building is a joint-project of the city government and the Office of former Congressman Rodolfo Biazon.
Muntinlupa City Resiliency Building is set to house the city’s command center- a centralized surveillance and emergency response system for operations during disasters, crime prevention, and traffic monitoring.
The local exec said that by the end of 2016, CCTV will be installed in the city’s major thoroughfares and by 2019, the command center will be fully operational.
Some of the offices that will be housed in the building are: Muntinlupa City Disaster Risk Response and Management Office, Rescue Department, Department of Social Welfare and Development, and Metropolitan Trial Court Training Rooms. All rescue vehicles of the city will be stationed at the Resiliency Building.
Court Administrator Midas Marquez also attended the event and praised Fresnedi for making room to additional five trial courts in the Resiliency Building. He lauded the coordination of the local exec and former Congressman Biazon for infusing the justice system in Muntinlupa.
Likewise, Mayor Fresnedi took oath in office which was administered by Metropolitan Trial Court-Muntinlupa Executive Judge Jacob Montessa at Muntinlupa Sports Complex, Tunasan.
Other government officials who witnessed the oath taking ceremony were: Congressman Ruffy Biazon, Vice-Mayor Celso Dioko and all members of the city councils, councilors Louie Arciaga, Ivee Arciaga, Patricio Boncayao Jr., Allan Camilon, Alex Diaz, Bal Niefes, Phanie Teves, Ringo Teves, Tintin Abas, Dhesiree Arevalo, Lester Baes, Lucio Constantino, Grace Gonzaga, Marissa Rongavilla, Rafael “Raffy” Sevilla, and Victor Ulanday.
