KUNG papansinin, style president of the Republic of the Philippines na, kung magsalita at magtalumpati ang presidential candidate na si Rodrigo “Digong” Duterte.
Style president na rin kung siya ay nangangampanya sa iba’t ibang dako ng Filipinas.
Sa pinakabagong TV political ads ni Duterte, habang siya ay nagsasalita, makikitang katabi na niya ang wumawagayway na bandila ng Republika na naging viral sa mga social media.
Nakatawag din ng pansin o panggising para sa mga mamamayang Filipino ang TV political ads ni Duterte na sa dakong huli ay may katagang “Oh god, I hate drugs!”
Sa kasalukuyan ay nangunguna na sa presidential survey ang pangalan ni Mayor Digong ng Davao. Naungusan na niya sina Grace Poe, VP Jojo Binay, at ang manok ng palasyo ng Malacañang na si “Boy pikon” Mar Roxas, ang standard bearer ng Liberal Party.
PRO4A officers participate in the PNP media relations seminar/workshop
A TOTAL of 80 participants from different Municipal/City Police Stations, and the Regional Public Safety Battalion 4A joined the PNP Media Relations Seminar/Workshop held on April 11-12, 2016 at General Ricardo C Marquez Hall, in Camp Vicente Lim, Calamba City, Laguna.
Participants were the designated Information Officers/Spokesperson of the different Police Stations and the RPSB.
The 2 day seminar/workshop started with the topic on the Basic Concept of Media Relations (Media 101) lectured by Police Chief Inspector Bryan Gregorio, Chief, Operations, PNP PIO, where he touches the salient points of Media Relations which refers on how should the PNP deal and interact with members of the working press and how the media are expected to respond to them. Moreover, Chief Inspector Gregorio also discussed the Best Practices in Media Relations.
Mr. Roy C. Navales, a Non-Uniformed Personnel designated as Chief, Editorial, Section, PNP PIO talked about the PNP Policies on Media Relations relative to Criminal Investigation and Media Relations; Policies/Guidelines on Giving Statements Comments and Opinions to the Media; Policy on Non-Presentation of Suspects in a “Firing Line” to the Media; Policy on Embedded Media; and the Guidelines on Media Management during Crisis Situation.
On the Second day, DZMM Correspondent Noel Alamar discussed topic on the Expectation of Media Practitioners Relative to PNP Media Relations. Topic on News Writing and How to Organize a Press Conference/Press Briefing were also presented to the participants.
Meanwhile, the participants were interviewed by the selected local media practitioners in the region as part of their practical exercises/practicum.
The 2-day PNP Media Relations Seminar aimed particularly to enhance and build a good relationship between the media and the PNP.
During the said activity, Chief Public Information Office Chief Supt. Wilben Mayor gave his guidance on how to deal with media practitioners. “Our task is to give accurate information to the media because they are the medium to reach our audience-the public, he said. He reiterated that all information to be presented to media should be based on facts and not speculations or opinions.
“Always maintain patience in dealing with media people and the public as well. Endorsed yourself based on performance and emphasized individual self through patience. Always read newspapers, condition your mind through continues training and learning,” the Chief PIO also said.
Awarding of Certificates of Training was given to the participants by Chierf Supt. Mayor assisted by Chief RPCRD Senior Supt. Marceliano S. Villafranca and the Certificate of Appreciation to the Guest Lecturer and the selected local Media Practitioners. (PRO4A-RPIO).
