HINDI raw kayang hulihin ng local PNP ang operasyon ng bookies ng loteng at bookies ng karera ng kabayo na ang management ay sina Bong, alias “Jose,” Nestor, alias “Barurot” at Roderick sa Pasay City.
Ang ipinagyayabang ng tatlong ilog, pasok naman daw ang kanilang weekly gambling payola sa pulisya, mula sa precinct level hanggang sa higher level ng PNP sa NCRPO, SPDO at GAB.
Kung walang kampanya sa illegal gambling ang local na pulisya, maaaring may katotohahanan ang ipinagyayabang ni Jose na umaaktong overall management ng bookies ng EZ-2, Suertes, pick 4 at 12 number games ng lotto sa buong Pasay. Iyan ang itatanong natin kay Rocky Boy ng SPDO.
Ang mga butas-bookies naman ng karera ng kabayo ay hawak lahat ni Nestor. Matagal-tagal na rin nilang inagawan ng mga puwesto si Len ang barangay official na nagsisiga-sigaan.
Sa nakalap kong info, madali naman daw matunton ng pulisya ang hideout ng bookies ng loteng at bookies ng karera ng kabayo sa Pasay. Ang dalahan ng ingreso, kobransa at polyetos ay matatagpuan sa kalye ng Tengco, Zamora at Tengco-Tramo.

Ang Pasay ay isang lungsod. Sa loob ng ilang buwan o linggo, dapat ang namumuno sa local PNP ng Pasay ay nasa permanent status.
Ang isa rin sa requirement para maging permanent status ang topman ng local PNP sa isang siyudad o munisipalidad, dapat dumaan siya sa Senior Officer Promotional Board (SOPB).
Sa pagkakaalam natin, may limang pangalan na ang nag-apply ng SOPB para sulutin ang bandila ng pamunuan ng Pasay City-Philippine National Police.
Anyway, ang mayor naman ang masusunod kung may pagbabagong magaganap sa headquarters ng Pasay City police force.

Countdown starts in Muntinlupa City
LIBERAL Party (LP) incumbent Muntinlupa City Mayor Jaime Fresnedi presented his intent to run for 2016 elections together with his political tickets.
His proclamation was kicked off with the jampacked of LP supporters at the quadrangle of the city hall in Muntinlupa last Thursday afternoon.
Muntinlupa’s local chief executive hopes to carry on his comeback and further his advocacy for an accountable, consistent, and truthful government of the people, for the people.
Joining Fresnedi’s team are incumbent Muntinlupa City Congressman Rodolfo Biazon, while Muntinlupa City ABC president Celso Dioko run as his runningmate for vice-mayor.
For District 1, candidates for councilors are incumbent councilors Patricio Boncayao Jr., Phannie Teves, Ringo Teves, Louie Arciaga, Bal Niefes, Bong Cruz, Danny Carandang and Allan Camilon.
The Teveses are among the strongest candidates for councilors in Muntinlupa.
Ringo Teves is the son of Melchor Teves, a known political kingpin in Muntinlupa. Lady Phannie, also belong to Teves clan, whose father King Joel Teves is the incumbent vice mayor in the town of Naujan, in Mindoro Occidental.
During his tenure starting from 2013, Fresnedi led initiatives to revive the vigor of public service in local government which reaped recognition from various organizations.
Fresnedi administration steered Muntinlupa LGU in regaining ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System, an international standard accreditation for organizations’ operations, Seal of Good Local Governance from the Department of Interior Local Government which recognizes outstanding performance of LGUs in areas such as financial housekeeping, disaster preparedness, and social protection, among others.
