Lagi rin nakabuntot kay PNoy sina Interior and local Government Secretary Mar Roxas, justice secretary Laila de Lima at ang chairman ng Metro Manila Development Authority na si Atty. Francis Tolentino. Pakipot pa sina De Lima at Tolentino. Halatang-halata namang lalahok sila sa halalan sa 2016 sa partido ng Liberal Party (LP).

Paano magiging maayos ang problema sa trapiko sa buong Metro Manila kung busy sa pagpapakilala si Tolentino sa mga pinupuntahan niyang probinsiya???

He he he… Kailan kaya sila magre-resign sa kani-kanilang juicy position? Kailan pangulong Aquino?

‘Kampeon ng Wika’

KOMISYON sa Wikang Filipino (KWF) awarded the “Kampeon ng Wika’ citation to the city of Muntinlupa because of the wide-scale use of Filipino language for official correspondence and other forms of communication in the locality.

KWF Director General Roberto Añonuevo awarded a plaque of recognition to Mayor Jaime “JRF” Fresnedi for leading the city to be the first local government unit in the country conferred with the citation last August 20.

Añonuevo said Muntinlupa’s utilization of the national language is outstanding and a practice for other LGUs to emulate. He lauded the city’s use of Filipino in writing ordinances, letters, local publication (Lingkod Bayan), among others.

Muntinlupa City passed the assessment of KWF in promoting Filipino language and execution of Executive Order 335.

EO 335, issued on August 1988, enjoined all departments, bureaus, offices, agencies, and instrumentalities of the government to use Filipino language in official transactions.

Mayor Fresnedi thanked the KWF for recognizing the pro-Filipino policy in the city and attributed it to the cooperation of every local to promote the national language.

Fresnedi said since his tenure as vice-mayor on 1986, together with former Mayor Ignacio Bunyi, they initiated the use of Filipino language in constructing executive orders, and in other discourses.

“Local officials in Muntinlupa has treated Filipino language as natural medium of communication and will always be the practice in the City Government because it is our organic connection with one another,”    Fresnedi explained.

Earlier in June 25, KWF conducted a training on the use of Philippine national language in official correspondence which was attended by supervisors and teachers in Muntinlupa City.

Fresnedi also challenged the officials of Department of Education-Muntinlupa to augment the use of Filipino as medium of instruction in the academe.

Maraming awards ang nakamit ng Muntinlupa simula nang si Fresnedi ang maging alkalde sa lungsod.

LAST Saturday evening ay nagkataong nagkita kami ni Konsehal Moti Arceo sa isang lugar sa Roxas Boulevard sa Pasay City.

Nang kami ay nag-uusap, naitanong ko sa kanya kung may kalaban si Mayor Tony Calixto. Ang sagot niya sa akin, “Malamang wala. Kasi kapos sa budget ang nag-aambisyong labanan si Mayor Calixto.”

Meaning unopposed candidate for mayor si Calixto sa 2016. Walang kalaban sa mayoralty race.
