MALUNGKOT man ang pangyayari dapat tanggapin ni Makati City Mayor Junjun Binay ang kautusan ng Office of the Ombudsman.

Kahapon ng umaga, pormal nang nag-decision si Mayor Binay na bumaba sa gusali ng Makati City Hall.

Matapos niyang yakapin ang kanyang erpat na si under attack Vice President Jejomar “Jojo” Binay, kasama ang kanyang sister na si Senator Nancy Binay, sumakay sila sa isang luxury car. Nang oras na iyon walang nakaaalam kung saan sila pupunta at maglulungga.

Matatandaan na pinatawan ng panibagong suspension order ng Office of the Ombudsman si Mayor Binay na may kaugnayan umano sa maanomalyang Makati City Science Building.

Wise and gentleman decision ang ginawa ni Yorme. Bumilib ako sa kanya.

Sa kasaysayan ng politika sa Metro Manila, ang mga Binay ang pinakamatagal na politiko na naghari-harian sa Makati City. Naging mayor ang ama, asawa at ang anak. Tatlong dekada na nilang nasa kamay ang lungsod ng Makati.

Anyway, kung performance naman ang pag-uusapan, the best ang mga Binay. Sa Makati, libre sa pag-aaral ang mga estudyante, uniporme at mga kagamitan sa pag-aaral. Alagang-alagang nila ang mga senior citizens at may lib-reng hospital pa.

Ombudsman mabagsik

INIUTOS  na ng Office of the Ombudman na sibakin na sa serbisyo ang nag-resign na PNP chief na si director general Allan Purisima, kasama ang ilang matataas na PNP officials na sangkot umano sa maanomalyang kontrata sa Courier Service Werfast Documentary Agency noong 2011.

Paano kaya malulusutan ng grupo ni Purisima ang parusang ipinataw sa kanila ng Ombudsman, ang grave misconduct, serious dishonesty and grave abuse of authority?

Munti locals set to avail free interment service

THE local government of Muntinlupa has lined up encompassing services for constituency. From pre-natal care to funeral services and other programs in between, the City Government assures locals of lifetime support.

Muntinlupa Community Affairs Development Office now offers free interment service in the Municipal Cemetery located at Soldiers’ Hills, Putatan.

Zusi Lastrella, Monitoring Division head, said locals can forward a request in their office to avail free interring in the 10,000 sq.m burial ground.

Lastrella also said that upon completion of a Viewing Chapel being constructed near the Municipal Cemetery, Muntinlupeños can also benefit from free funeral service.

According to a report from Engineering Department, the Viewing Chapel in Soldiers is on 75% completion and another chapel is set to be built in Southville, Poblacion.

CADO Special Project Division head Zenaida Pineda also goes on saying other services that the City Government extends to locals.

She added that bereaved kin can benefit from financial assistance, flower service, free lending of chairs, tents, and fleet in the interment.

Mayor Jaime Fresnedi continues to expand the City Government’s programs and services to deliver all kinds of assistance for everyone.
