Ang convicted na bilanggo na nahatulan na nang habambuhay na pagkabilanggo, nakakapagbenta pa ng illegal drugs tulad ng shabu. Wala na silang kinatatakutan.

Kung hindi nahuli ng mga operatiba ng Anti-Illegal Drugs Unit ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) ang presong si Ruben Tiu at ang escort niyang jailguard na si Ahrbe Duron, malamang nakahawak na naman ng makapal na kwarta ang mag-partner.

Kung hindi rin nasakote ng NBI ang mag-partner sa reservation ng Sablayan Penal Colony sa Occidental, Mindoro, malamang ang isang kilo ng shabu na nakumpiska sa kanilang possession sa panahon ng drug bust ay nakakalat na sa iba’t ibang lugar sa Metro Manila at sa mga probinsiya.

Sa pagkakahuli sa dalawang suspects, maraming kabataan ang nailigtas ng mga tauhan ni NBI director Virgilio Mendez. Dapat nating saluduhan ang NBI sa kanilang isinagawang successful drug bust sa penal colony this week.

Kamakailan, 19 na bigtime convicted prisoners, ang ilan sa kanila ay Chinese drug lords ang inilipat ng detention cell mula sa maximum security compound ng New Bilibid Prisons sa Muntinlupa patungo sa custody ng NBI sa Maynila. Iyan ay nang masangkot sila sa iba’t ibang anomalya sa loob ng bilibid.

Ang NBP sa Muntinlupa at ang ilang malalaking penal colony sa bansa ay nasa command ng Bureau of Corrections (Bu-Cor). Ang director ng Bu-Cor, ang retired police general na si general Franklin Bucayu. Ang Bu-Cor ay under naman ng Department of Justice (DOJ).

Naku po!!! Justice Secretary Laila de Lima, sasakit na naman ang ulo n’yo kung bakit tuloy-tuloy pa rin ang negosyong shabu ng ilang mga preso na nahatulan nang mabilanggo.

Munti launches Material Recovery Facilities in celebration of Earth Day 2015

THE local government of Muntinlupa partakes in conserving the environment as it joins in celebration of Earth Day 2015, launching two Material Recovery Facility across the city, last April 21, to address local environmental issues.

Every year, all people across the globe celebrates Earth Day to protect our Mother Nature from adverse effect of industrialization and development.

This year, the city government of Muntinlupa thrust to rekindle public commitment in this environmental cause embarking on the theme, “Everyday, Everywhere for Everyone,” which solicits collective effort from the locals.

Early this week, Mayor Jaime Fresnedi inaugurated two Material Recovery Facility in NHA Southville 3, in Poblacion and in Barangay Sucat which aims to reduce waste in the community thus help conserve the environment.

Fresnedi pounds environmental values to Muntinlupeños and advocate public support in reaching positive change.

“This seemingly simple way of discipline in waste disposal has an impact to resolving a greater issue and this will be our contribution for the protection of the Earth,” the local executive explained.

Solid Waste Management-Environmental Sanitation Center personnel Corazon Saputil explained that Material Recovery Facility helps in segregating recyclable and non-recyclable trash to lessen city’s overall management of waste.

Saputil added that the facilities will also serve as a livelihood project for residents in the community where it’s situated as the selling of recyclable waste will be their source of income.

MRF on Barangay Sucat and in Poblacion are two pioneer structures in the city and the local government commits to construct one facility each barangay.

Fresnedi administration continues to carry out pursuit of ecological balance in the fast-paced development.

Talagang napakasipag ni Mayor Fresnedi. Napakahalaga sa kanya ang environmental sanitation sa lungsod ng Muntinlupa.

Wala pang nagde-deklara sa Pasay

HANGGANG sa kasalukuyan ay wala pa rin politikong nagdedeklara ng kandidatura sa lungsod ng Pasay sa kabila na nakahanda na ang line-up ng Calixto Team.

Kung mabagal ang galaw ng ibang politiko sa Pasay, mas lalong lalakas ang makinarya ng Calixto Team. Malamang landslide ang Calixto Team sa 2016 sa pangunguna ni incumbent Pasay City Mayor Tony Calixto at incumbent congresswoman Emi Calixto-Rubiano.

Retired na si Col. Ramon Reyes

NAG-RETIRED na pala  sa serbisyo ang kumpare kong si Col. Ramon Reyes matapos ang ilan taon niyang panunungkulan sa Bureau of Corrections (Bu-Cor). Ang matagumpay niyang pagreretiro ay naganap sa Iwahig Penal Colony sa Mindoro noong Marso 31, 2015. Congrats pare.
