STAR-STUDDED ang naganap na 30th PMPC Star Award for Movies na ginanap sa Solaire Grand Ballroom. Nanghinayang lang kami na wala si Jericho Rosales sa mga actor na tumanggap ng Dekada Awards dahil may prior commitment siya. Ang gandang tingnan na sama-sama sa entablado na tumanggap ng naturang parangal sina Aga Muhlach, Piolo Pascual, John Lloyd Cruz, Dennis Trillo, at Baron Geisler.
Binuhay naman ni Ai Ai delas Alas ang crowd dahil mahigit apat na oras naidaos ang awards night.
Nang tanggapin niya ang award ay buong ningning niyang sinabi sa stage ‘my new inspiration’ na patungkol kay Dennis Trillo.
“Nakatabi lang sa upuan, my new inspiration agad,” tumatawa niyang pahayag sa stage.
Nagsigawan at nagtawanan pa ang mga tao nang magbiro si Ai Ai sa stage ng, “Sex tayo…parang inaantok lang.”
Pangiti-ngiti lang si Dennis. Sabi pa ni Ai Ai, “Pareho naman silang single”. Reaksyon naman ng mga tao ay, bagay sila.
Inumpisahan din ni Ai Ai ang sariling version nila ng selfie sa awards night na kasama ang mga Dekada Actors Awardee at ang hosts na sina Maja Salvador at Robi Domingo.
Naging hosts din sina Dawn Zulueta, Richard Gomez, Piolo Pascual, at Toni Gonzaga.
Nagsama rin sina Christian Bautista at Iza Calzado sa paghahandog ng tribute sa mga Dekada Awardee.
Sa Opening Number, bilang pagbibigay-pugay sa 30 Years of the Best Star Awards Movies, naghandog ng awitin sina Kuh Ledesma at Radha.
Sina Dawn at Richard naman ang nagtanghal para sa tribute sa tatlong movie outfit na nagningning sa loob ng tatlong dekada— Regal, Viva, at Star Cinema.
May surprise song number din si Cesar Montano.
Ang 30th PMPC Star Awards ay mula sa direksyon ni Al Quinn. Mapapanood ang kabuuang pagtatanghal sa ABS-CBN Sunday’s Best sa Marso 16, 2014.
