“Heads must roll starting with Pres. Duterte who spent P10.8 billion in untransparent loans on CAAPs Communications Navigation Surveillance Air Traffic Management (CNS ATM) in 2018,” sabii ni Neri Colmenares, tagapangulo ng Bayan Muna.
“The solution should have been more government spending on efficient public transport but negligence and privatization spelled doom on any effort for an efficient and affordable transport system. This breakdown can now be used by Pres. Marcos as a justification to pursue Pres. Duterte’s disastrous program of privatization,” ani Colmenares.
“There must be accountability among those responsible or the Philippines will surely go the way of failed states — a complete breakdown of accountability in the midst of a rudderless government,” giit niya.
“But from the reports we received, many passengers went hungry yesterday and others slept on airports. This should be addressed immediately and the incident should not be used to justify another sale of government asset and increase in airline rates,” ani Colmenares. (ROSE NOVENARIO)
