NAKATANGGAP ang 300 partisipante ng online sports specific lectures sa athletics, badminton, at volleyball sa Philippine Sports Commission’s National Sports Coaching Certification Course (NSCCC) nung Huwebes.
Ang proyekto sa ilalim ng Philippine Sports Institute’s (PSI’) Sports Education and Training Program, ang NSCCC ay may layong magbigay ng oportunidad para sa pagpapatuloy ng kaalaman at skill building para sa coaches bilang parte ng isang unified national grassroots sports program sa bansa.
“We wanted to elevate the learning experience of these participants, who previously passed the Level 1 Sports Science Lectures conducted from July 2020 to June last month,” sabi ni PSI Grassroots Program Head Abby Rivera.
Ang dalawang araw na lectures para athletics, badminton, at volleyall ay sabay-sabay na binuksan ni PSC Commissioners Ramon Fernandez, Celia Kiram, at Charles Maxey, ayon sa pagkakasunod, via Gooble Meet.
Ang PSC-PSI ay napili ang expertise nina Coach Roselyn Jamero at Coach Joseph Sy (athletics), Coach Bianca Carlos at Coach Rjay Ormilla (badminton), at Coach Jerry Yee (volleyball), para magbigay ng high-quality lectures sa pamamagitan ng synchronous at asynchronous learning methods. Nagkaroon ng examinations pagkaraan ng lectures.
Dagdag ni Rivera na, “passers to be granted Level 1 accreditation on these sports specific lectures will be moving on to Level 2.”
Nung Pebrero, may 180 partisipante mula sa iba’t ibang siyudad at munisipalidad mula Luzon ay nakatanggap ng Level 1 Sports Science online lectures on Sports Philosophy, Sports Pedagogy, Sports Psychology, Sports Physiology, Talent Identification, at Sports Ethics.
