Connectivity sa 115 barangays lumakas sa bagong LTE sites ng Globe

UMABOT sa 115 barangays sa Metro Manila, Northern Luzon, Southern Luzon, Visayas at Mindanao ang nabiyayaan ng pinakabagong modernization efforts ng Globe na kinabibilangan ng bagong LTE sites, pag-upgrade sa umiiral na LTE sites, at paglipat mula sa 2G at 3G networks sa 4G LTE na mas mabilis nang 10 beses.

Sa LTE sites expansion ay bumuti ang kalidad ng serbisyo ng Globe customers nang mahigit sa 50 porsiyento sa 17 barangays at 10 porsiyento sa 64 barangays sa Metro Manila, Marinduque, Bohol, Sorsogon, Iloilo, Bulacan, Rizal, Antique, Pampanga, Negros Occidental, Negros Oriental, Samar, Tarlac, Cebu, Zamboanga, Pangasinan, Cebu, Albay, Batangas, Leyte, Isabela, Davao del Sur, Palawan, at Albay.

Humusay rin ang serbisyo ng bagong LTE sites ng Globe sa 16 barangays sa Quezon City, Manila, Valenzuela, San Juan, at Parañaque.

Ang Bulacan ang nagtala ng pinakamaraming barangays na may malaking improvement sa call, text at data services sa 43 site upgrades sa Bocaue, Malolos, Marilao, Sta. Maria, San Miguel, Calumpit, Norzagaray, San Ildefonso, San Jose Del Monte, Guiguinto, Baliuag, Bustos at San Rafael.

Kahit man lamang isang barangay rin ang may site upgrade sa Alaminos, Pangasinan; Cauyan City, at Dumaguete sa Negros Oriental; Iriga City sa Camarines Sur; Cabatuan at Lopez Jaena sa Iloilo; Sialon sa Negros Occidental; Panglao sa Bohol; Daraga sa Albay; Cauayan City sa Isabela; Sogod sa Southern Leyte; Patnongon sa Antique; at Tacloban City sa Leyte.

Sa upgrade mula 2G/3G sa 4G LTE network ay bumuti rin ang mobile experience sa 18 barangays sa Marinduque, Abra, Batangas, Nueva Ecija, La Union, Palawan, Occidental Mindoro, Camarines Sur, Cebu, Bulacan, Laguna, at Cavite.

“We are hopeful that this modernization in various locations across the country will help our customers with their requirements whether it is for online or distance learning, work from home set-up, or starting their own small online businesses,” pahayag ni Kristelle Dizon, Globe Head of Consumer Mobile Business.

Target ng Globe na makapagsagawa ng mahigit sa 10,000 cell site upgrades sa mga pangunahing lungsod at bayan bilang bahagi ng three-pronged strategy ng kompanya para sa network upgrades at expansion nito, kabilang ang masigasig na cell site builds at pagpapabilis sa  fiberization ng Filipino homes sa buong bansa.
