“My advise to our honorable Mayor, as a former Mayor of San Juan.
“APOLOGIZE SINCERELY TO THE PEOPLE OF BAGUIO whom you have offended. They are very strict and have been obedient to follow quarantine and lockdown rules. The people of Baguio sacrificed a lot for the past 3 months for the welfare of Baguio.
“And stand up for your police security escorts and BE MAN ENOUGH TO ASSUME RESPONSIBILITY.
“I know I am the last person you would seek an advise. But this one I am giving you because I am standing up for our San Juan Police Force who are good officers. Matitino ang Pulis San Juan. Wag mo sana silang pabayaan.
“Please take this advise with a grain of salt. ‘Wag mo sanang masamain. Take this constructively.
“I am doing this for the San Juan Police force who have served me when I was Mayor and has served San Juan very well. Masakit ang nagyari sa kanila, this they do not deserve.”
Isang pasasalamat sa FOOD FOR MEDS.
“It has been a fulfilling experience during this lockdown and quarantine that we have sent hot meals to the heroes if this battle against the Pandemic, our MEDICAL FRONTLINERS. They are the people who made the biggest sacrifice and fighting this virus head on to save our countrymen.
“My snappiest salute to all of you! We cannot thank you enough! This is the least we could do.
“After serving Hospitals – from March 23 to May 31 total meals: 24,085
“Barangay and Police checkpoints-from April 17 to May 31 total meals: 7,959
“Hoping we were able to serve our medical frontliners in our own little way.
“Thank you FOOD FOR MEDS, and I am proud to have been part of this amazing group who has the biggest hearts to serve our people! Thank you Miles Lacanilao, Chef Amy Henson, Doc Alma, Maita Brown, Arpie, Bambi, Emily, Eya, Marose Poe, Mesedilla BakeStudio, Janice Hope D. Nunez, Jeena, Katrina, Pau Ibuna Santos and the rest of the gang for your service!”
