Bea Binene, na-depress sa pagsasara ng coffee business

Last year lang, it was sometime in June 2019, nang buksan ang Mix and Brew Coffee sa SM Megamall ni Bea Binene pero dahil sa current pandemic, kailangang isara niya ito.

 

Blood, sweat and tears raw ang kanyang pinuhunan kaya masakit sa loob niyang isara ito.

 

Inalala niya kung gaano siya ka-hands-on sa proyekto.

No wonder, she was absolutely beaming when her coffee stall finally opened for business.

 

“From pag-aano ng concept to the pag-aayos ng permits, ‘yung pagpapagawa ng architectural, electrical, and plumbing plans to the products, paghahanap ng supplier, as in igu-Google ko lahat ng suppliers ng gatas, tatawagan ko sila isa-isa while nasa traffic ako.

 

“So iyon, marketing, lahat. Ako po mismo yoong nakikipag-meet sa SM.

 

“Since nasa mall po ang business, we temporarily stopped operations because of the ECQ,” she asseverated.

 

‘Di raw nila alam kung kailan sila nagre-resume ng operation. Depende raw ‘yun sa pag-lift ng ECQ.

 

“If they say na malls will open na, then definitely, we will follow them,” she averred.

 

Ikinalulungkot raw niyang ‘yung tatlong barista ay mawawalan ng regular source of income pero tinulungan naman niya bago sila nagsara.
