MAY Sociology professor (daw) na nag-post sa Facebook ni Neil Arce ng akusasyon na “fake” ang sensiridad ni Angel Locsin sa mga pagtulong sa panahong ito, at lahat daw ‘yon ay “pure publicity and self-promotion” lang.
Pati ang umano’y kita ni Angel na “P500, 000 per taping day” ay pinakialaman ng propesor. “Overpriced” daw ‘yon at kawalan ng hustisya sa mga Pinoy na mas mahirap ang trabaho pero higit na mababa ang kita.
Hindi binanggit ng propesor kung saan n’ya nakuha ang presyong “P500, 000 per taping day.”
Disenteng sinagot naman siya ng future husband ng aktres, pero sori na lang sa nagki-claim na propesor na ‘yon. Kung ang layunin lang n’ya ay sumikat, ‘di mangyayari ‘yon–pwera na lang kung i-post n’ya ng madla sa ipinadala n’ya kay Neil para makilala siya ng madla.
Binura muna ni Neil ang pangalan ng propesor bago nito ipakita ang mensahe at ang sagot ni Neil sa kanya. At sinagot nga siya ni Neil nang kalmado at napakadisente.
Heto muna ang ilang bahagi ng kuda ng propesor kuno: “Frankly speaking, I am not impressed with actress Angel Locsin if she is helping. She is earning an overpriced rate of P500, 000 per taping day. That is an injustice to the more hardworking Filipinos working very hard but not paid properly. Her help is pure publicity and self-promotion.”
Patuloy pa ng nagki-claim na propesor: “I’d rather praise our lowly hardworking frontliners who are underpaid than those boastful teleserye stars who are self-centered… I can feel that Angel Locsin is not genuine. I am not dumb. I am a sociologist. I know her sincerity is fake.”
Sa sagot ni Neil, binigyang-diin n’yang siya at si Angel ay hindi pinahahalagahan ang ‘di nito pagkaka-impress sa mga ginagawa ni Angel.
Unang pahayag ni Neil: “Someone sent me this post today. First of all my fiancé is not trying to impress anyone. So it doesn’t really matter to us if you were not impressed. Yes I agree with you I myself would rather praise frontliners who are risking their lives everyday.”
Pagbibigay-diin pa n’ya: “This is the reason why we are doing thi: to help our frontliners by making sure they are protected, making sure they can rest and by making sure we do everything we can to make their lives easier. Impressing anyone especially people like you who seems to hate people you do not know personally is not at all important to us.”
Itinanggi ni Neil ang binanggit ng propesor na kita ni Angel sa bawat araw ng taping. Aniya: “Stating that she makes that much money per taping a day is far from reality and is fallacious.”
Pero ‘di naman n’ya itinangging matagumpay si Angel sa kanyang career. Deklara ni Neil: “I honestly believe that God made her successful because God knows she will use it to help those who are in need.”
Sinundan n’ya ‘yon ng pangangastigo sa propesor: “Calling out all actors as self-centered and Filipinos idiots is something we do not need during this time of crisis sir,” he said.
Itinuloy na ni Neil ang pangangastigo. Disenteng banat n’ya: “What worries me is that I read that you are a Professor. Is this what we are supposed to teach our students? Are we supposed to teach our students to look at everything negatively?
“I don’t expect everyone to believe In the sincerity of the things we do. But if the people our students are supposed to learn from thinking this way, then our country will never really have a chance to prosper.”
Wala na talagang pagkakataon na umuunlad ang bansa kung ang mga nagtuturo ay gaya ng nagki-claim na propesor siya sa Sociology (at marahil ay sa isang walang-palad na unibersidad).
Ang pwede lang maging reputasyon ngayon ng nagke-claim na sociologist siya ay ang pagiging kauna-unahang tao na kinuwestiyon ang sensiridad ng pagkakawanggawa ni Angel.
Pero sorry siya, ‘di siya sisikat.
