Ito ang reaksiyon ng Palasyo sa pagtanggap ni Vice President Leni Robredo bilang drug czar ng administrasyon o Co-Chairperson ng Inter-Agency Committee on Anti-Illegal Drugs (ICAD).
Sinabi ni Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo, ang unang dapat gawin ni Robredo ay magtungo sa Palasyo upang makipagpulong para malaman ang kanyang mga tungkulin bilang drug czar ng administrasyon.
“I think the next step is for her to go to the Palace and talk to the President so she would know exactly the parameters of her power as the drug czar,” ani Panelo.
Giit ni Panelo, ang pagpayag ni Robredo na maging drug czar ay patunay na mas matalino siya sa kanyang mga kasamahan sa oposisyon na ayaw siyang magtagumpay sa pagsisilbi sa bayan.
“Her acceptance shows she is smarter than her colleagues in the opposition who do not want her to succeed in serving the people,” dagdag ni Panelo.
Mas makabubuti aniya na sundin ni Robredo ang kanyang kutob bilang ina at abogado.
“She is finally her own person. She is much better off listening to her own instincts as a mother and a lawyer,” dagdag ni Panelo.
